Friday night smoke with David Blanco. Tabakado tobacconist in Eindhoven is hosting another Friday night smoke with a cigar manufacturer. And this time it’s David Blanco from Blanco Cigars. It’s not the first time that Blanco is at the shop in Eindhoven, and it probably won’t be the last time either.

Blanco Cigars and Tabakado

The ties between Blanco Cigars and the Kelch family that owns Tabakado Tobacconist are strong. Mariska Kelch is not just the owner of the shop, with her mother Wil. But she also owns and runs Kelch Trading. Kelch Trading is an importer and distributor in The Netherlands. And they are the distribution partner of Blanco Cigars in The Netherlands.

But that’s not the end of it. When Mariska and her late father Johan were exploring the idea of releasing their own cigar brand, David Blanco gave them a helping hand. Under his guidance, Mariska and Johan worked on the El Piño Blanco cigars. Unfortunately, Johan passed away before the cigars were released on the market, so he never saw the final result of their labor. The El Piño Blanco Maduro and the El Piño Blanco Corojo. The cigars are available in The Netherlands and Curacao. The cigars are made in Nicaragua at the Plasencia factory.
