Freshpacks from Ernesto Perez Carrillo landed in Switzerland
Freshpacks from Ernesto Perez Carrillo landed in Switzerland. The Swiss distributor for Ernesto Perez Carrillo secured a shipment of 500 Freshpacks for the Central European country. And these fresh packs, with five cigars each, are priced at 49.50 CHF.
The freshpacks contain five different cigars, all blended by the legendary Ernesto Perez Carrillo. And all produced at his La Alianza in the Dominican Republic. The cigars included in the fresh packs are the Inch Natural No. 60 and the EPC Elencos Elites. The EPC La Historia is represented by the Doña Elena. The EPC Oscuro Especial No.6 is included. And the last cigar is the EPC New Wave Connecticut Divinos

The series
Ernesto Perez Carrillo has four series of cigars, all containing several blends. And these four series are all represented in the freshpack.
The Inch Natural No.60 is a 5⅞x60 ring cigar. It is made with an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper. The filler comes from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua. The binder is Nicaraguan. It is part of the Dimension series. Ernesto Perez-Carrillo is widely believed to have created the BIG RING gauge craze years ago, and the Dimension Series is a nod to that creativity. The Carrillo Cigars concept that size adds dimension to the smoking experience, the INCH line of hefty ring gauge cigars, the non-traditional sized Rebel, and the smaller ring gauge Interlude all invite smokers to break free from the expected and find new and enticing “Dimensions” in the way they enjoy cigars.
La Historia is part of the Perez-Carrillo Series Generation Honored. Perez-Carrillo, as a name, has been known in the cigar industry for decades. Ernesto, like his father before him, and all those even earlier have all been integrally involved in making cigars for generations. This is the inspiration behind the Perez-Carrillo Series of Cigars. These cigars are created from generations’ worth of knowledge, poured into unique blends, and which culminate as the creations of Ernesto Perez-Carrillo himself. Only these cigars are allowed to bear the name Perez-Carrillo and each vitola is an homage to someone within the family and celebrate the pride, joy, and cigars of the Perez-Carrillo history. The La Historia Doña Elena is a 6⅛x50 Toro. It is made with Nicaraguan fillers and an Ecuadorian Sumatra binder. The wrapper is Mexican San Andres.
EPC Elencos Elites is a 6×54 Toro. The wrapper comes from Brazil. The binder is Ecuadorian and the filler tobaccos hail from the volcanic soil of Nicaragua. The Elite series is inspired by hard work. Hours spent on tobacco farms and fields looking for the perfect leaf. Hours spent on the factory floor blending to create the perfect cigar. These are the hours that go into the creation of the Elite Series. Carrillo Cigars that are worth the name Elite, are classified as such because of their unique tobaccos and blends, making each a master achievement in flavor, character, and time spent.
The EPC New Wave Connecticut Divinos is part of the Elite Series, just like the Elencos. It is a 6×52 Toro with an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper. The binder is also Connecticut, but broadleaf instead of shade-grown. The filler tobaccos come from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua.
The final series is the Classic Series. The Classics are the type of cigars we all know well. Those cigars that are traditional in make and style. They are akin to a favorite sweater or pair of comfortable shoes…a smoke that we crave any time of day. Based on the flavor profiles and composition of heritage brands, but brought forward for today’s smoker and their contemporary tastes, the Classics Series adds a new chapter in the storied tradition of everyday cigar smoking. The cigar picked from the classic series is the EPC Oscuro Especial No.6. That is a 6×50 Toro with a Mexican San Andres filler. The binder is Ecuadorian, with Nicaraguan fillers.
