Fratello turns the Navetta Inverso into a Boxer. Navetta Inverso boxer is a tweaked version of the Navetta Inverso. The Navetta Inverso was released last year. And that was a twist on the regular Fratello Navetta.

“Similar to the other Boxer blends, we modified the filler blend in the Inverso Boxer to increase in strength. And to highlight a different flavor profile from its Father the Navetta Inverso.” according to Omar de Frias in an email to us

The cigar is a box pressed 6¼x52 Torpedo. The blend consists of Dominican and Nicaraguan filler tobaccos, all aged for a minimum of three years. Some countries would use tobacco that young as a “Reserva” limited edition. The binder is a Habano Oscuro from Ecuador. The wrapper is a Habano from Nicaragua.

The Navetta series

In 2017 Fratello introduced the Navetta. That is Italian for shuttle and each of the cigars in the line is named after a space shuttle. De Frias had a career with NASA before starting Fratello cigars.

A year later, the Fratello Navetta Inverso was released. And Inverso sums it up perfectly. The same tobaccos are used as in the Fratello Navetta, but inside out. The wrapper of the Navetta is now used as a binder. The binder is used in the filler, and some of the filler is the wrapper of the Navetta Inverso.

And now, Fratello releases the third Navetta line. The Fratello Navetta Inverso Boxer. Tweaked from the Inverso blend. Box pressed. In a torpedo size. And scheduled for a release at the IPCPR for the American market. International markets will see the official launch during the Intertabac trade show in September. But maybe some distributors will be able to prerelease the new cigar before then.
