Føninks adds new cigars to the portfolio. The Danish cigar importer and distributor is adding four new cigars to the portfolio. Two of the cigars hail from Nicaragua. There is a Honduran cigar. And the last one is coming from the Dominican Republic.

The Danish importer has added the Perdomo Nicaragua Bourbon Barrel-Aged Sun Grown Robusto. That cigar, sold in the USA under the name Perdomo Habano Bourbon Barrel-Aged Sun Grown measure 5×54 in size. It’s made with all Cuban seed fillers from Nicaragua. The binder is also a Cuban seed Nicaraguan leaf. The wrapper comes from Nicaragua as well, and it’s sun grown. The tobacco has been aged in bourbon barrels, and that’s where the name comes from.

Casa de Torres is a hand made cigar from Nicaragua. The cigar is produced for Schuster Cigars and has been on the market for over 20 years. For the limited edition for 2020, Schuster picked a Salomones. The fillers for this cigar all come from Nicaragua. The binder is Indonesian and the wrapper is an Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade. The cigar is now confirmed for the Danish market.

Honduras and the Dominican

Maria Mancini shares part of the story with Casa de Torres. The brand is about the same age, it’s owned and made for the Schuster family. But it’s made in Honduras. The 2020 limited edition is a perfecto which comes in boxes of 20 cigars. The wrapper comes from Mexico. The binder and fillers are all Honduran.

Earlier this year, Indian Motorcycle launched the Indian Motorcycle Connecticut in Canada. And now the new blend is available in Denmark as well. Only in the Robusto size for now.
