First Rocky Patel shipment for New Zealand. Earlier this year, Rocky Patel Premium Cigars and Canteros agreed to a distribution partnership where the latter would be the official distributor for Rocky Patel in New Zealand. Not that there is a lot of choices, as Canteros is the only distributor of New World Cigars in the land of the kiwis.

First shipment

The first shipment is arriving in New Zealand soon. After feedback from trusted sources in the industry, reviews on online and printed media, and in collaboration with Rocky Patel, Canteros made a good selection. The selection includes the infused Java lines, cigars from Hamlet Paredes, and several names with the Rocky Patel name.

The Java Latte, a coffee-infused cigar with a Connecticut shade wrapper comes in a petit corona and a wafe to New Zealand. The same goes for the Java Maduro with its Brazilian Maduro wrapper. The Java Mint, also with a Brazilian wrapper is available in the same two sizes. The same goes for Java Red. The Rocky Patel Java line is produced at Gran Fabrica Drew Estate, the masters of infused cigars.

Traditional cigars

From the traditional Rocky Patel lines, Canteros picked the Mareva and Robusto from the Cigar Smoking World Championship line. So maybe next year, the Cigar Smoking World Championship will have contenders from New Zealand. The Olde World Reserve comes in both blends, Corojo and Maduro. Both blends are available in Robusto and Toro. Then there is the Rocky Patel Fifty-five in a corona size and the Rocky Patel Decade Short Robusto.

From the Vintage series, Canteros only picked the 2003 Cameroon. But that cigar will come in three sizes. The small juniors, the robusto, and the torpedo. All four different Rocky Patel The Edge series are inbound as well. All in a Short Robusto size. We are talking about the Corojo, Maduro, Habano, and Connecticut. From the Sungrown Maduro blend, the Toro is on its way to New Zealand. The LB1 is represented by the Corona and Toro. The Aged Limited and Rare is also coming. And finally, the Corona Gorda and the Toro of Hamlet Paredes Liberation are available to the cigar aficionados in New Zealand.
