Foundation is adding two lines to the Charter Oak series, Foundation’s love letter to the Connecticut River Valley. One of the lines, the Charter Oak Pegnataro will have a Connecticut Shade wrapper while the other, Charter Oak Pasquale, will have a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper. The cigars will both come only in a 5 ½ x48 vitola and are made at the factory of A.J. Fernandez. The production is limited to 500 boxes of 12 each per quarter.

The new blends do not replace the current Charter Oak with a Connecticut Shade or Broadleaf wrapper but will exist next to each other. The tobacco for the new lines is from a higher priming and therefore the cigars are stronger than the older siblings.
