In the upcoming month, 2GuysCigars.com is set to exclusively release the third collaborative endeavor between Single Cask Nation and Aganorsa Leaf cigars. Following the success of the 2019 and 2021 releases, the 2023 project maintains the distinctive bourbon barrel aging process that harmonizes the flavors of Nicaraguan tobacco with the rich essence of bourbon and rye extracted from the aging barrels.

Terence Reilly, Aganorsa Leaf’s VP of Sales and Marketing, expressed the challenges inherent in executing this project, emphasizing the meticulous attention to detail and personal supervision required over the two-year progression before the release. Despite the challenges, Reilly noted the immense reward and satisfaction derived from this collaboration, particularly in partnership with 2GuysCigars.com and Single Cask Nation.

Single Cask Nation’s Co-Founder and CEO, Joshua Hatton, underscored the honor of working with Aganorsa Leaf on their third collaborative cigar. Drawing on their shared passion for whisky and cigars, Hatton highlighted the synergy between the nuanced flavors from bourbon cask aging and the carefully chosen tobaccos, resulting in an exceptional smoking experience. Hatton also praised the perfect pairing of the cigar with their charitable bourbon release, “Good Ride ‘Tanks for Troops,” created in collaboration with Carey Hart.

The 2023 Single Cask Nation cigar features a blend composed of a Habano wrapper and Corojo ’99 and Criollo ’98 tobaccos for the binder and filler. Presented in a 6 x 48 vitola, only 200 ten-count boxes have been produced, with a suggested retail price of $14.00 per cigar or $140 per box.

Yoni Miller, Single Cask Nation’s ‘Cigar Czar,’ highlighted the distinct characteristics of the 2023 edition, emphasizing that the barrel influence manifests more on the mouthfeel and lingers as a true finish of flavor, contributing to the cigar’s unique maturation.
