Ernesto Perez Carrillo is releasing a limited edition for independence day. For this, he combines the names of two of his regular production lines, Pledge and Allegiance to the Pledge of Allegiance. To stay in the theme, 1776 boxes of 10 cigars are made.

The 6×54 Toro is made with a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper over an Ecuadorian grown seed Connecticut. The filler comes from the USA, Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic. The MSRP is $20 per cigar. Selim Hanono, the former chief operating officer of E.P. Carrillo, is credited with the idea for the name.
