Episode 22 of the Philip & Ferdy Cigar Show. For this episode, the brand ambassador for Martell Cognac, Lucas Mulliez, joins Philip and Ferdy to pair a Montecristo Linea 1935 Maltes with not one, but two exquisite cognacs from the Martell house.

Mulliez brought two cognacs. The first is the Martell Chanteloup XXO, a blend of 450 Eau de Vie. That leads to a deep, intense, and complex cognac. The youngest of the eau de vie must be 14 years of age before a cognac can be called XXO. The second cognac is the Martell Cohiba. A collaboration between Martell and Habanos. And thus, Philip & Ferdy picked a Habanos cigar to pair.

Episode Twenty Two

In Episode Nine of the Philip & Ferdy Cigar Show, Cohiba Cognac made its first appearance. But that was the original Cohiba Cognac by Biscuit. Both Biscuit and Martell are part of the Pernod Ricard family. The packaging is slightly updated, yet the age of the eau de vie, between 40 to 55 years old, and the recipe remains the same. The cigar smoked it the Montecristo Linea 1935 Maltes made at the Briones Montoto factory in the heart of Havana. References were made to Vrijdag Premium Printing, on which we published two articles. One company visit, and one detailed article on printing methods.
