Epic creates limited for the tenth anniversary. The cigar is simply called EPIC Ten. The total amount of cigars is limited to 10.000. That means 1000 boxes of ten cigars.

For the last decade, EPIC cigars hailed from the Dominican Republic. But the EPIC Ten is the first cigar the brand makes in Nicaragua. For that, they teamed up with A.J. Fernandez. The cigars made with Nicaraguan filler and binder. The wrapper is Cameroon. The size is a 6×52 box-pressed Toro. Handmade in Esteli, at Tabacalera A.J. Fernandez. That is the largest of the two factories owned by Abdel Fernandez.

Ministry of Cigars - Epic creates limited for the tenth anniversary

Zander Greg

Ten years ago, Dean Parsons founded EPIC Cigars. Parsons is a former semi-pro hockey player. But he’s also a former Canadian Police Officer and a former Real Estate agent in the Caribbean. While touring the Dominican Republic on his Harley Davidson he came up with the EPIC concept. Within two years, the brand was big enough to make it his full-time career.

But even though EPIC is the brainchild of Parsons, he is no longer the owner. Last year, he sold the brand to tobacco wholesaler Zander Greg. As part of the deal, Parsons remains the face of the brand. He is now the brand ambassador for EPIC.

Zander Greg is a tobacco wholesaler from Pasadena, California. The company is 25 years old this year. Not only does the company wholesale, but it also owns EPIC and the Nat Cicco brands. The wholesaler works from the largest climate-controlled warehouse in the state of California. The EPIC Ten is the first new release since Zander Greg acquired the brand.
