Emilio Cigars, the company owned by the Zucca family, has two new releases on its way to American retailers. The first is a limited edition Robusto with the name Emilio audiophile. It uses an Ecuadorian Maduro wrapper over an Ecuadorian Habano binder. The filler comes from Nicaragua and the cigars are packed in boxes of 20 sticks. It is unclear how many cigars have been produced.

There is also a new regular production line. That one is called Suave Maduro. It is made with an Ecuadorian habano wrapper over a Nicaraguan habano binder and fillers from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua. It is offered in three sizes, Robusto, Toro and Churchill.

“Suave has been a staple in the Emilio line since the beginning,” said James Brown, owner of Oveja Negra., in a press release. “With the success of the Connecticut Suave over the years, we felt it was time to expand the line and add a Maduro version. The Maduro Suave is a medium bodied, medium strength and full of both flavour and complexity.” Oveja Negra is the factory where Emilio Cigars is made.
