The Dominican cigar manufacturer El Artista, who’s been producing cigars since 1956, is releasing a new blend. The blend is called Cimmaron, named after a region in Colorado that impressed brand owner Rodriguez.

The filler is a unique filler just as the binder. For the binder Rodriguez used a negrito tobacco from the Dominican Republic. That tobacco was very popular in the middle of the twentieth century and El Artista tweaked the original seeds so they are all set for a twenty-first era comeback. Add a San Andres wrapper and there’s the Cimmaron.

The cigars are already for sale in Germany and Italy will follow shortly.
