Dunbarton is available in Germany. We must admit it, we completely missed the launch of Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust cigars in Germany. Since Steve Saka is only focussing on the United States, we are relying on information from local importers, distributors, and retailers about international releases for the brand. And the news that Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust cigars are available in Germany did not reach our desk until now.

PassionPuro, the German distributor for the brand, received the second shipment of cigars from Nicaragua earlier this week. The cigars are now being processed by customs and will get the German tax stamp this week. Then the boxes can go to retailers all over the country.

Selection

There is quite a good selection of Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust cigars available in Germany. For reasonable prices, compared to other countries where the brand is available. Germany, like a few other European countries, has fixed prices on cigars. Retailers have to sell the cigars for the price that’s on the tax stamp. Markups and discounts are prohibited,

From the Muestra de Saka series, the 6×52 Exclusivo and 6×48 Nacatamale are available. Both these cigars are €17,90. Five of the Sin Compromiso sizes are available. The Seleccion #2 Torpedo, Seleccion 5, Seleccion 7, Seleccion Intrepido, and the Seleccion Espada Estoque, varying between €15,90 and €18,40 in price. Todos Las Dias comes in the sizes Half Churchill, Thick Lonsdale, Robusto, Toro, and Double Wide Belicoso for prices from €10,90 to €12,90.

Sobremesa, Umbagog & Mi Querida

Sobremesa comes in Corona Grande, Cervantes Fino, Robusto Largo, El Americano, Torpedo Tiempo, Gran Imperiales, Short Churchill, and Elegante en Cedros. All between €9,90 and €14,40. The Sobremesa Brûlée is available in three vitolas, Robusto, Toro, and Gordo. The prices for the Brûlée are €12,40 and €13,90.

From the Mi Querida, only the original line with the blue rings is available in Germany. In the sizes Gordita, Fina Largo, Ancho Corto, Ancho Largo, and Mi Gordo Grande. The prices vary between €8,90 and €11,90. Last but not least is the Umbagog series. Corona Gorda, Robusto Plus, Toro Toro, and Gordo Gordo for prices starting at €8,20.
