From the start of the regional edition project of Habanos, it has always been a rule that a distributor could only pick one regional edition for a certain region per year. Yet, with the delays in the release of the cigars, it was about to happen that two new regional edition cigars would appear in certain markets at the same time. This is now the case in Belgium and Luxembourg as the 2020 La Gloria Cubana Medaille D’Or Especial and the 2021 Juan López Dragones finally appeared in shops.

The La Gloria Cubana is a 6×38 long panatela that comes in 25-count boxes. The release is limited to 100,000 cigars and retails for little over 14 euros a cigar. The Juan Lopez is also limited to 100,000 cigars but comes in boxes of 10. This is a 4½x52 Short Robusto. The retail price of this cigar is around 19 Euro.
