It is a Liga Privada Unico exclusively for the European markets where Drew Estate is available. This is not the first time Drew Estate releases a limited edition exclusively for the European market. But as far as we can tell, it is the first time that Drew Estate releases a Liga Privada that won’t be available in the United States.

Bauhaus

The new, European exclusive Liga gets its name from the architectural movement Bauhaus. The new Liga Privada Bauhaus Short Robusto pays extra attention to leaf placement within the cigar. The blend takes the European cigar enthusiasts through a newly curated experience. The cigar measures 4½x50 and come in elegant blue boxes of 12 cigars. The cigars use filler from Nicaragua and Honduras. The binder is a bold Brazilian tobacco. The wrapper is a rich earthy Connecticut Broadleaf capa.

In the past, Drew Estate created a special Undercrown Shade John Aylesbury for the John Aylesbury Group in Germany. The group of approximately 50 independent tobacconists had the exclusive rights to the 500 boxes of the 6×50 Drew Estate Undercrown Shade John Aylesbury. The blend of the cigar was slightly tweaked.

The Compaenen group in The Netherlands is also a group of independent tobacco retailers. In 2012, members of this group could order the first batch of the Undercrown Flying Pig XLR. About 100 boxes were made. Two years later, Drew Estate released the Undercrown Flying Pig internationally.
