This year’s event exclusive cigar for Drew Estate events is a lancer version of the illusive Liga Privada H99.

There will be a lancero size of the Liga Privada H99. Liga Privada H99 Connecticut Corojo Phineas Gage Lancero is a 7×40 lancero with the same blend as the H99. That means a corojo seed wrapper from the Connecticut River Valley with a Mexican San Andres Negro binder over filler from Honduras and Nicaragua.

The name is a reference to Phineas Gage. Gage was a 19th century American railroad construction foreman. He survived having an iron rod driven completely through his head. Gage was working near Cavendish, Vermont when an explosive charge accidentally exploded. The rod entered Gage’s face through the lower jar and exited the top of the skull. He lived, but with complications from the accident.
