When Liga Privada celebrated its 10th anniversary Drew Estate released a limited edition Liga Privada 10 Aniversario which was a huge hit. The Connecticut Corojo was then also released through a raffle system for Drew Diplomat Program retailers, where 10 retailers would receive 4 boxes a month. But now it will be a regular production just for the Drew Diplomat retailers.

The Liga Privada 10 Aniversario Connecticut Corojo is a 6×52 Toro with a covered foot and a unique flag tail. The wrapper is a Connecticut grown Criollo seed leaf covering a Mexican San Andres negro binder. Inside there is tobacco from Nicaragua and the USA, including Green River One Sucker Ligero from Pennsylvania.

“Liga Privada 10 Aniversario is a tribute to the remaining old-school tobacco growers in the Connecticut River Valley who produce the capas for Liga Privada,” says Jonathan Drew, co-founder of Drew Estate, in a press release. “The magnificent cigar also honours our loyal consumers who’ve stood by our side through the ups and downs all these years. Today’s news is certainly welcome, as more people will now get to experience Liga Privada 10 Aniversario’s bold, luxurious and commanding presence … so let’s get luxuriating, party peoples.”
