NewsDiesel Concludes Fool’s Errand Trilogy with Release of “Worthy Fool”
Author: Inspector X
The Diesel Fool’s Errand trilogy is concluding, albeit later than anticipated. This week, General Cigar Co. began shipping the final instalment, the Diesel Worthy Fool, which marks the third release in the limited edition series that started in 2022. The Worthy Fool is a 5 x 58 perfecto featuring an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper and Nicaraguan Habano tobaccos for both the binder and filler. Like other cigars in the Diesel line-up, it is produced at Tabacalera AJ Fernandez Cigars de Nicaragua S.A.
Each Diesel Worthy Fool is priced at $9.99, though production numbers have not been revealed.
“When we started this project, our goal was for fans to enjoy not just the cigars but the interactive experience as well,” said Joe Krzyston, assistant brand manager for Diesel Cigars. “Justin and A.J. delivered another masterpiece to complete the trilogy. You’d be a fool to miss out on this one.”
The Fool’s Errand trilogy began in March 2022 with the Diesel Stubborn Fool, followed by the Diesel Simple Fool nearly a year later. While all three cigars in the series share the same 5 x 58 perfecto size, each has a unique blend. The Stubborn Fool featured a broadleaf wrapper, while both the Simple Fool and the Worthy Fool use an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper.
An ongoing feature of the trilogy is a consumer contest. Each 10-count box includes a QR code that directs buyers to the Diesel website, where they can solve riddles to enter a giveaway. The winners of the contest will be announced in January.
Diesel cigars are distributed by Forged Cigar Co., a sister company of General Cigar Co.
