Daniel Marshall reveals more details of the XXXVIII

Daniel Marshall reveals more details of the XXXVIII. Some information about the limited edition Daniel Marshall by Carlos Fuente XXXVIII Anniversary Cigar was published before. But Daniel Marshall is now ready to ship the cigars to 38 retailers worldwide. Some small changes are made to the original idea. We reviewed the cigar earlier this year.
Travel humidor
The cigars are not to be sold per cigar but as a set. A set that comes with a beautiful Macassar Ebony humidor, a complimentary membership of the Daniel Marshall Campfire Club. But also with a book on Daniel Marshall’s 38 years in the cigar industry. The Daniel Marshall Campfire Club membership comes with a “Since 1982” Travel Aluminum Cigar Ashtray, DM Cutter, DM Torch Lighter, and the DMQ Magazine as well as valuable benefits and exclusive offers. But the main attraction is the cigars. Nine to be precise. Eight of the Daniel Marshall by Carlos Fuente XXXVIII Anniversary cigars, of which one is to be smoked during a virtual campfire with Daniel. And one Daniel Marshall by Carlos Fuente 24kt Golden XXXVIII Anniversary Cigar with 2 grams of pure 24kt gold personally rolled on each Golden Cigar by Daniel Marshall
The travel humidor comes filled with 9 cigars, but by removing a shelve, there is room for 16 cigars. Each travel humidor is numbered. Several celebrities have ordered their favorite number. Comedian Steve Harvey ordered number 17, as it’s his birthday. Canadian hockey legend Wayne Gretzky chose his favorite number 99. Actor Andy Garcia picked number one. Number 23 is taken by no other than Michael Jordan. It is still possible to pick your favorite number, depending on availability.
Golden cigar
The gold-wrapped cigar is an idea from Carlos “Carlito” Fuente. Daniel Marshall visited Carlos Fuente and Ciro Cascella in Santiago, the Dominican Republic in March, before the pandemic. Carlos and Daniel discussed this masterpiece cigar after their recent visit to Chateau de la Fuente. Fuente mentioned their collaboration together is historic, and suggested Daniel wrap one of the eight cigars in his signature 24kt gold. “Anyone collecting these rare cigars in the special humidor will be collecting history,” said Fuente. Both the cigar and humidor symbolize the best of what the two men have created over their lifetimes.
Carlos Carlito Fuente Jr. told Marshall, “I want to do something for you very, very special. I am making a cigar for you, which I do for no one. To commemorate our long time friendship and my highest respect and admiration for you and your story. It’s an honor to be able to participate with you on this special anniversary. I am humbly honored to have been chosen. I poured my heart into every detail, hoping to make you proud. You will get the best of me.”
The tobacco from the cigars all comes from Chateau de la Fuente in the Dominican Republic. That’s the same farm that grows tobacco for the world-famous Opus X cigars. And only one roller is responsible for the Daniel Marshall by Carlos Fuente XXXVIII Anniversary cigars. He rolls 12 cigars a day, in the special room where only the rarest Fuente cigars are rolled.
