Crowned Heads is releasing another limited. Even though the Mil Dias is a very new blend from the Nashville cigar company, it is already the second Edicion Limitada. And that for a brand that took 1000 days to develop.

Mil Dias Escogidos EL 2021

The brand new Mil Dias Escogidos EL 2021 is the follow up of the Mil Dias Mareva EL XX. That cigar was launched last October and sold out in minutes. The Mil Dias Escogidos EL 2021 is a 7⅛x49 Double Corona but with the original blend and craft of the Mil Dias. There are only 3000 boxes of 10 cigars available and they are all for the American market.

In a press release, Crowned Heads co-founder and owner Jon Huber explains the cigar. He says “we actually put the Mil Dias Escogidos EL 2021 in production not long after the Mil Dias Mareva EL XX began shipping. While the vitola is a radical left turn from the Mareva EL XX, one of the cigars that always captivated me when I was coming up was the Hoyo de Monterrey Double Corona. This release is an homage to that Iconic Cuban cigar. This vitola delivered a 2-hour-plus-ride of richness and layers of complexity that the Mil Das blend is now famous for.”

Mil Dias

The Mil Dias blend is a collaboration between Jon Huber and Don Radio Pichardo from Tabacalera Pichardo. It is a medium-plus blend, full of flavor. The cigar is made with filler from Nicaragua, Peru, and Costa Rica. The binder is Nicaraguan. The wrapper is Ecuadorian Habano. The regular production has four different sizes.
