Cigaragua part two?
Author: Inspector Z
Cigaragua part two? Yesterday Sasja van Horssen dropped a cryptic message on Facebook. For those that don’t know van Horssen, he’s the largest independent cigar importer and distributor in The Netherlands. he’s also the owner of three specialized cigar shops in The Netherlands. Including the worlds first and only “all Nicaraguan, only Nicaraguan” shop, Cigaragua, in the museum quarter of Amsterdam.
The message only said “never limit your ambition” with the picture below
Other plans
Van Horssen is also planning to release his own line of cigars, made at My Father Cigars, later this year. He told us about it in a short video. As a shop owner, he owns and runs Cigaragua in Amsterdam and the Van Dalen Cigars shops. Those are located in Rotterdam and Den Bosch.
As an importer and distributor, he’s responsible for distributing some of the best brands from several countries. His company, Longfiller Company, distributes PDR, Kristoff, Ashton, and Fuente from the Dominican Republic. He’s bringing in Alec Bradley, CLE, and Asylum from Honduras. But his main focus is Nicaragua. With brands such as Padron, My Father, Tatuaje, Rocky Patel, Oliva, Perdomo, and many more.
Now we do have an idea what the ambition of Sasja van Horssen is, and where this picture is taken. On the same hand, we don’t want to speculate. So we keep our mouth shut and see what we can find out from sources around Van Horssen, or maybe speak to the man himself. But knowing him, and seeing what he did with the other three shops, he’s ready to take the Dutch tobacco retail to the next level.
