Cavalier Geneve has introduced a new limited-edition cigar, the Especial Selección No. 1, which will be available exclusively through Cigora, a digital platform owned by Scandinavian Tobacco Group. Cigora curates premium cigars for discerning enthusiasts, making this release particularly significant as Cavalier Geneve’s first exclusive offering on the platform. This announcement marks a new chapter for the brand, which continues to gain recognition in the boutique cigar market.

Cavalier Geneve, known for its meticulous craftsmanship, operates out of Danlí, Honduras, where its cigars are produced by a small, dedicated team. The Especial Selección No. 1 is a testament to the brand’s focus on quality and artistry, with each cigar featuring the signature gold diamond that has become synonymous with Cavalier Geneve products. The blending process for this release, like all of the company’s cigars, was a collaborative effort between three skilled artisans who carefully co-blend every cigar, ensuring a unique and consistent experience.

Sebastien Decoppet, founder of Cavalier Geneve Cigars, expressed his excitement about the release, saying, “We wanted to craft something exclusive that showcases our expertise by developing a distinctive taste profile. Equally bold and complex, notes of dark chocolate, black tea, earth, and a naturally sweet finish highlight the well-balanced Cavalier Geneve Especial Selección No. 1.” The cigar is medium to full-bodied, offering a rich and layered smoking experience. The blend consists of a San Andrés wrapper, a Connecticut binder, and fillers including Viso from Paraguay, Piloto, and Seco from Jalapa, promising an intricate flavour profile.

The Cavalier Geneve Especial Selección No. 1 will be available in a 6 x 52 Toro size, with a unique box presentation that includes 11 cigars. Ten of these cigars are the Especial Selección No. 1, while one additional cigar is a mystery blend, packaged in a coffin. The MSRP for the box is set at $170, and production is limited to fewer than 2,000 cigars, making it a highly sought-after release for collectors and aficionados alike.

Cigora, the exclusive platform for this release, is part of Scandinavian Tobacco Group, which also owns prominent brands and retailers such as Cigars International, Thompson Cigar, Cigar.com, General Cigar Co., and Forged Cigar Co. This partnership highlights the growing trend of digital platforms becoming important avenues for distributing exclusive and limited-edition cigars to a global audience of cigar enthusiasts. With its limited production and unique blend, the Cavalier Geneve Especial Selección No. 1 is poised to become a standout in the brand’s portfolio.
