Casdagli releases Pony Express globally. A year ago, in November 2019, the Casdagli Daughters of the Wind Pony Express emerged in the United States. But it is only available through Small Batch Cigar. A store-exclusive cigar. And for the USA, nothing is changing. The Casdagli Daughters of the Wind Pony Express continues to be a store exclusive for Small Batch Cigar.

Global release

But Casdagli releases Pony Express globally. The international distributors and consumers of Casdagli Cigars express a growing interest in this cigar. So Jeremy Casdagli, the founder of Casdagli cigars came up with a solution. Together with his manufacturer for the Daughters of the Wind line, IGM, he is able to produce 20.000 more Casdagli Daughters of the Wind Pony Express cigars in the next two years. And those, Casdagli is releasing as a limited edition.

The 6×48 box-pressed corona is not exactly of the same blend as the rest of the line. The base is the Daughters of the Wind blend but with small modifications to the blend. The Daughters of the Wind Pony Express uses two binders. One from Esteli, Nicaragua, and one from Puriscal, Costa Rica. Another modification is an extra amount of Dominican Oscuro Ligero in the filler. It strengthens the Daughters of the Wind blend. The cigars are available from next month. It is the first and only box-pressed vitola in the Casdagli portfolio.

About Casdagli Cigars

Formerly knows as Bespoke, Casdagli Cigars have been around for almost 25 years now. In 1997, Jeremy Casdagli met the Cuban torcedor, Carlos Valdez Mosquera. After he retired from Habanos, he started making his personal blends and vitolas. Those blends attracted Casdagli and together they formed Bespoke cigars. At first, the small-scale production was exclusively sold on the London markets but the company grew slowly. When Valdez Mosquera retired completely, Casdagli moved production to Costa Rica and the Dominican Republic.

Casdagli changed the name from Bespoke to Casdagli Cigars. Casdagli tried to get the Bespoke name trademarked in the United States. The United States Patent and Trademark Office told Casdagli that it was a generic name and could not be trademarked. Much to his surprise, Alec Bradley managed to get a trademark for Bespoke years later. After a friendly discussion with Alan Rubin, Casdagli agreed to rebrand to Casdagli Cigars. A move that would be able to incorporate the incredible Casdagli family history into his cigars.
