Casa Turrent event in Bratislava. The Slovakian importer, distributor, and retailer Dom Cigar is hosting yet another event. The event includes buffet-style dinner, two alcoholic beverages, and three cigars as usual. And on popular demand, the event takes place at the Wakelake Resort in Bratislava again. This is an outdoor event on a private terrace. Usually, the events from DOM Sigar take place at the HRON Club in Bratislava. But the summer weather in Slovakia makes outdoor events possible during the months of June, July, and August.

The event takes place on Monday, August 24. It starts at 6 PM. Tickets are available for €45 via domcigar@domcigar.sk. Attendance must be confirmed before August 20. The three cigars included in the dinner are Mexican cigars from the Turrent family.

Casa Turrent

The brand that’s selected to get the spotlight in this session is Casa Turrent. The Mexican brand got an overhaul a few years ago with the introduction of new lines. Those lines are a big step up from what the Turrent family used to make. The family is responsible for most of the tobacco grown in the San Andres region of Mexico. San Andres wrapper is used a lot by other manufacturers as well as it’s one of the hottest wrappers at the moment.

The cigars included are three robustos. Those are the Casa Turrent 1880 Colorado. The wrapper on this cigar is a Negro San Andres Colorado. The second cigar is the Casa Turrent San Andres. The San Andres Maduro wrapper is one of the most popular wrappers in the cigar industry at the moment. The last cigar is the Casa Turrent Miami with a Connecticut wrapper.
