Bouncers at Dutch cigar lounges. A bouncer is coming to The Netherlands. No, not a doorman who’s gonna kick you out of a cigar lounge but the cigar from American Caribbean Cigars. The two other offerings from American Caribbean Cigars are also coming to The Netherlands.
American Caribbean Cigars
The American Caribbean Cigars Factory produces cigars for El Viejo Continente, Toraño, Leccia, and Gurkha amongst others. But it produces its own brands too. These brands are The Bouncer, Bella Mundo, and La Rosa de San Diego.
Last year, Gurkha almost acquired the factory. But at the last moment, the company owned by Kaizad Hansotia canceled the plans.
The cigars
The Bouncer is an all box-pressed line available in three sizes. Once they arrive, you can truly say that there are bouncers at Dutch cigar lounges The blend features a San Andres wrapper over a Sumatra binder. The fillers are from Estelí, Jalapa, and Ometepe in Nicaragua. The sizes are a 4½x52 Robusto, a 5½x56 Toro, and a 6×60 Gordo.
The La Rosa de San Diego is offered in many different wrappers. But The Netherlands will not have all. The distributor De Sigarenman chooses the Connecticut Shade, Sun Grown, and Maduro versions in several vitolas.
The final offering from American Caribbean in The Netherlands is Bella Mundo. Alex Menendez of American Caribbean says “Bella Mundo is the most unique cigar we’ve ever done. I can’t wait for you all to smoke it!”. The filler is Nicaraguan Criollo. The binder comes from Sumatra and the wrapper is Brazilian Cubra.
