Angola is a country on the west coast of South Central Africa, with a population of over twenty-five million. And because of the oil, diamond, copper and fossil fuel, the country has a relatively high amount of wealth. And where there is wealth, there is a demand for luxury items, including quality handmade cigars.

And this year, Arturo Fuente cigars will be introduced into Angola. Two parties were interested in distributing the cigars, including Primazia Decorama. Primazia Decorama is the import & distribution company that owns Men’s Emporium, one of the leading cigar stores in the country. They were negotiating with the Belgian based Meerapfel & Sohne, the worldwide distributor of Fuente, about the distribution of the brand in the African country.

After Meerapfel told Fuente that they were discussing distribution in Angola with a local distributor, Fuente made a special request. A personal friend of Carlito Fuente expressed his interest in distributing the brand as well through his company AdF International. After looking at both companies, Fuente and Meerapfel agreed that the latter was a better fit.

AdF International is the ambassador for Hublot in Angola. Fuente and Hublot worked together on a few beautiful watches. And where Primazia Decorama distributes several brands, AdF will only distribute Arturo Fuente.

To cut a long story short, AdF International will start distributing Arturo Fuente cigars soon. When we find out which lines are going to be available in Angola, we will report back.
