ReviewArturo Fuente Don Carlos 80th Personal Reserve Cigar Review
Author: Usman Dawood
The Arturo Fuente Don Carlos Personal Reserve The Man’s 80th cigar is a meticulously crafted piece with a medium strength profile. It measures 5 1/4 inches in length and has a ring gauge of 50. Each cigar is individually packaged to maintain its integrity and quality.
This cigar, named in honor of the legendary creator and Fuente family patriarch, Don Carlos Fuente, Sr., stands as one of the world’s finest smokes. Its construction involves an undisclosed blend of tobaccos, described as vintage and rare. It’s likely that most of the tobacco is of Dominican origin. Wrapped in sweet African Cameroon wrappers, these cigars, though not the most visually stunning from Fuente, offer a wealth of interesting flavors.
In our latest video, I review the Don Carlos 80th Personal Reserve cigar. Although it doesn’t qualify for the prestigious Opus X brand, it certainly doesn’t disappoint. My experience with many Fuente cigars, particularly the Don Carlos series, has shown consistent performance. Cigars like the Don Carlos Eye of the Shark, which was named No. 1 Cigar of the Year by Cigar Aficionado, fall into this category.
With a blend similar to the Eye of The Shark, it’s no surprise that this cigar also comes highly recommended. Check out the video below for the full review.
