Arnold Andre introduces Club Red for its Carlos André line. The Carlos André Club cigarillos are already a staple in any tobacconist shop in Germany. But now there is a second blend, Carlos André Club Red. With a different blend yet in the same 3⅓x18 size. The cigars are machine-made at the Arnold Andre Dominicana factory in the Dominican Republic.

This affects both the timing and the gustatory aspect, ”says Petra Lindenschmidt, Vice President Arnold André Dominicana. “With the new Carlos André Club Red, we complete our attractive quartet as the ideal choice for every moment of pleasure and now also offer club connoisseurs a powerful, spicy variant.”

The new Carlos André Club Red features a Habano 2000 wrapper from Mexico. The binder comes from Mexico as well but is a Sumatra variety. The filler is a blend of Dominican, Nicaraguan and Brazilian tobacco. The small cigars are packed in boxes of five cigars. The fixed retail price in Germany is set at €6,50 for a box.

Arnold André has over 200 years of history. The André family opened their first factory in Osnabruck in 1817. The second factory opened in 1851 in Bunde, where the company remains until today. Bunde is the heart of the German tobacco industry. Handelsgold, one of the Arnold André brands was the first cigar to be distributed all over Germany right after the Second World War. MacBaren pipe tobacco and fine-cut tobacco is also the responsibility of Arnold André in Germany.
