Another Domcigar event in Bratislava. And this time the Slovakian distributor is celebrating the Nicaraguan cigar. This during a dinner at the Hron Club in Slovakia’s capital Bratislava.

The event includes a buffet-style dinner, drinks, and three cigars. All for the price of 40 euro. Tickets are for sales via domcigar@domcigar.sk. The event will take place on Monday, April 29. And it starts at 6 pm.

The Cigars

The three cigars are all from different manufacturers. They only share the country of origin. That is Nicaragua.

The evening starts with the Condega Serie F Mini Titan. The second cigar is the Flor de Las Antilla Robusto. And the evening ends with the Padron 1926 no. 35 Natural.

Condega is the brand of the Spanish manufacturer and distributor Gesinta. The Condega Serie F has a Corojo wrapper. The binder is also Corojo 99. The filler is Corojo 00 and Criollo 98. The Mini Titan is a nub sized cigar. The length is 4½ inches. The ring is 60. This is a Nicaraguan puro.

The second cigar is the award-winning Flor de Las Antillas from My Father Cigars. The toro of this cigar was voted best cigar of the year 2012 by Cigar Aficionado. The 5×50 robusto will be smoked during the event. It is a Nicaraguan puro. The artwork dates from the 1900s. Flor de Las Antillas is an old Cuban brand but it is resurrected by My Father Cigars as a Nicaraguan puro.

Padron is the flagship of the Nicaraguan tobacco industry. And the 1926 series is the Nicaraguan Behike. The best of the best. The No 35 is a 4×46 Corona. It is an all Nicaraguan cigar as well. All cigars at the event are Nicaraguan puros. The cigar scored a 97 in Cigar Aficionado, and that is extremely high. The reputation of this cigar is certainly earned.
