Alec Bradley is set to release its latest creation this month, just in time for Halloween.
The Black Market Filthy Ghooligan is a 6 x 50 toro with a distinctive barber pole wrapper design, combining Ecuadorian Habano and U.S.-grown Broadleaf tobaccos. The blend is completed with an Indonesian Besuki binder and filler tobaccos from Nicaragua’s Condega, Estelí, and Jalapa regions, along with Dominican Piloto.
With a suggested retail price of $14.09 per cigar, a total of 1,500 boxes containing 24 cigars each are being released. While the cigars are being produced in Honduras, the specific factory has not been disclosed.
“Filthy Ghooligan offers our fans a fun new spin on a classic Alec Bradley concept,” said Ed Lahman, senior brand manager at Alec Bradley, in a press release. “Just as Black Market Filthy Hooligan and Shamrock have become staples of our St. Patrick’s Day celebrations, so too will Filthy Ghooligan deliver an unforgettable smoking experience for Halloween and beyond. It’s scary good.”
The Black Market Filthy Ghooligan is a variation of Alec Bradley’s Filthy Hooligan and Filthy Hooligan Shamrock, both limited edition releases for St. Patrick’s Day. While all three blends feature barber pole designs, the Filthy Ghooligan stands out by not incorporating candela tobacco in its wrapper. All three lines are part of the Alec Bradley Black Market series, which first launched in 2011.
