New Zealand is getting ready for a tsunami of cigars. Over 10.000 cigars are expected to land in November and that’s excluding the 3000 that are expected to land in the remaining days of October.

The first shipment that will come in comes from Alec Bradley and that means the return of the most uniquely shaped cigar in the industry, the Alec Bradley Nica Pura Diamond Rough Cut. And what it also means is that New Zealand is one of the first International markets to see the brand new Alec Bradley Fine & Rare 2018. This is the limited edition with 10 types of tobacco that Alec Bradley releases every year, we wrote about the Fine & Rare earlier this week.

Alec Bradley also introduces the Tempus and the Tempus Nicaragua lines in New Zealand. The Tempus is a classic by now, made in Honduras with a Honduran and Nicaraguan filler, Honduran binder and Honduran wrapper. The Tempus Nicaragua is one of the two follow up lines of the Tempus. Even though the cigar is a Nicaraguan puro, with filler from three regions, a double binder and a wrapper all from Nicaragua, the cigar is made in Honduras at the famous Raices Cubanas factory in Danli.

Both lines are a staple and finally Alec Bradley decided to release the cigars in New Zealand. Late to the party, where on the other hand New Zealand cigar aficionados are one of the first in the International markets to smoke the Fine & Rare 2018 and the Medalist. At the time of the New Zealand release of the medalist the cigar was nowhere to be found anywhere in Europe or Asia.

Even though the complete release of the 2019 Alec Bradley Filthy Hooligan is sold out at Alec Bradley, the New Zealand distributer managed to secure plenty of boxes for his kiwi botl to be able to smoke the barberpole candela limited edition cigars.

The shipment arriving this week also contains stock of the Alec Bradley Prensado, Prensado Lost Art, Black Market, Black Market Esteli, Nica Puro, Nica Puro Rosado, American Sun Grown, Medalist and the Spirit of Cuba.
