AJ Fernandez releases a bundle cigar exclusively for the international markets. It is the first time that AJ Fernandez creates a line exclusively for his international fans and distribution partners. And it’s also the first time the company creates a bundle cigar for its own portfolio. Tabacalera AJ Fernandez does make bundle cigars for partners but they are not sold under the AJ Fernandez umbrella.

The new line is called Blend 15 and it will come in three sizes. There will be a 3½x50 Short Robusto, a 5×50 Robusto, and a 6×50 Toro. The cigars are packaged in paper bundles of 15 cigars. The blend consists of Nicaraguan tobaccos only. The price will differ in each country due to different tax systems. The cigars are expected to reach the retailers in Europe, Asia, Africa, and Oceania from November.

Trademark

The trademark is registered in the United States too. That suggests that the blend may be released on the American market in a later stage. It’s not the first time a cigar company releases an exclusive for the international markets just to launch it in the United States at a later stage. The trademark is registered since early July of this year. 

A search in the trademark database also revealed another brand trademarked by Tabacalera AJ Fernandez Cigars de Nicaragua. In July, the company trademarked a brand called Pretenciosa. Nothing about that line is revealed by Tabacalera AJ Fernandez yet. But we will keep an ear and eye open for any news. Both trademarks are the first new trademarks registered by Tabacalera AJ Fernandez in four years. In 2016, the company trademarked 9 brands.
