Unpredictable Release, Anticipated Arrival

This month, two Fuente Fuente OpusX Rare Black cigars will be released along with branded accessories, despite their typically unpredictable release schedule.

You’ve likely seen Fuente’s black-label ForbiddenX and the Rare Pink line, but the OpusX Rare Black remains elusive, with sporadic releases. However, this month, they are making a notable return in two sizes, accompanied by a series of branded cutters and lighters.

The Collection

The Fuente Fuente OpusX Rare Black Torpedoes feature the distinctive tip found on the OpusX PerfecXion 888. These cigars are part of the Serie “Heaven and Earth” line under the Fuente Aged Selection umbrella, distributed by Prometheus International. Distinguished by their age, these cigars come with a vintage band indicating their production time and are released only twice a year.

The Fuente Fuente OpusX Rare Black Double Coronas were rolled in 2017 and have been aging since. This month’s releases include:

• Double Corona: Measuring 7 5/8 inches by 49 ring gauge, priced at $67.50 per cigar.

• Torpedo: Measuring 6 7/8 inches by 44, priced at $62.50 each, the same size as the OpusX PerfecXion 888.

Both sizes are available in black, 10-count Prometheus travel humidors.
