ACE Prime signs German distributor. The company from Eradio Pichardo, Tiago Splitter, and Luciano Meirelles sign an exclusive distribution agreement with Dalay Zigarren from Saarbrucken. Dalay Zigarren is also the exclusive distributor for Crowned Heads. Crowned Heads distributes the cigars for ACE Prime in the United States. Some Crowned Heads cigars are being produced at Tabacalera Pichardo, the factory of Eradio Pichardo in Esteli, Nicaragua.

The story

In 2019 three friends came together and founded ACE Prime. The three friends are Tiago Splitter, Luciano Meirelles, and Radio Pichardo. Splitter is an NBA champion with the San Antonio Spurs and assistant coach of the Brooklyn Nets. Meirelles is a cigar master blender, sommelier, and global entrepreneur. Pichardo is from a Cuban family with 150 years of tobacco history. He’s a master blender and the owner of Tabacalera Pichardo in Esteli, Nicaragua.

The brand gained the interest of the general public with the limited edition Luciano The Traveler. Another Luciano cigar, The Dreamer, is coming soon. Another cigar from ACE Prime that is receiving a lot of attention is the M.X.S. Signature line. That cigar is a collaboration with former NBA stars Dominique Wilkins and Tiago Splitter.

German distribution

Germany is the first country outside of the USA where ACE Prime cigars are available. The Western European country is the largest market for New World cigars outside of the United States. ACE Prime will create a special and exclusive brand for Dalay Zigarren to distribute on the German market. That’s a practice that works well for other boutique companies such as RoMa Craft with the Wunderlust.

“We have a common vision about the future of our premium cigar family and our values and goals are aligned,” said Meirelles in a press release. “We’ve already received a lot of support from publications and cigars experts across the globe, and we are truly excited to expand into Europe.”
