The cigars from ACE Prime are now available through a partnership with three Brazilian companies who join forces to distribute the ACE Prime portfolio in the South American country.

The connections with Cuba are strong. One of the importing companies is D’Angelo Importadora. Radaelle D’Angelo started importing Cuban cigars but is now importing Nicaraguan cigars instead.

Habanos

The other two Brazilian parties are Consulado do Tobacco and Distribuidora de Tabacos. These two companies are from Eduardo Llerena. He knows Eradio Pichardo since the days that the two worked together for Habanos in Cuba. Llerena owns several cigar shops in Brazil and has a house blend made at Tabacalera Pichardo. He’s also a distributor that supplies other tobacconists in Brazil.

“We just brought in our first batch and sold out in just a few days,” Llerena says. “These cigars have quality. I’m proud to be part of their history and witness their growth. Their hard work paid off!”

Llerena and Tabacalera Pichardo are long time partners. The client-supplier relationship is more than a decade old. So that they partner up for distribution in Brazil is nothing but natural. 

ACE Prime brands

The brands that are part of the distribution agreement are the different lines under the Pichardo name. The Luciano brand is also part of the agreement, just as MXS. MXS stands for Maximum, Excellence, Success and is the brand of 9 time NBA All-star, hall of fame legend Dominique Wilkins and former NBA Champion Tiago Splitter.

Tabacalera Pichardo is also known for producing some of the popular Crowned Heads lines. But Crowned Heads isn’t included in the distribution agreement as it is an independent business.
