Oliva is releasing a limited edition cigar, limited to 3000 sticks, to raise money for their Helping Hands foundation. And if you think that 3000 sticks won’t bring in much funds, think again as the cigars will have a price tag of $300.

The cigars are named after the roaring twenties, the energetic and optimistic years that followed the first world war and the Spanish flu pandemic. The Oliva Serie V Roaring Twenties Super Limited Edition is a 6×60 Perfecto with an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper over Nicaraguan filler and binder. What makes the cigars special is the collaboration with Daniel Marshall. Marshall, known for his humidors, made the boxes. But Marshall also has the DM 24KT Torpedo, a cigar covered in smokeable gold. This technique is also used for the bottom part of the Oliva cigar.

“We’re so excited to present this cigar to the world. The idea was born before a worldwide pandemic took people’s freedoms away,” says Frederik Vandermarliere, owner of Oliva. “The freedom to enjoy, share special moments and express oneself. All the more reason, seen in hindsight, why this cigar is an ode to liberty, to the power of vitality and of embracing life, especially in pivotal times.”
