2011’s three Edición Limitada cigars have just been announced by Habanos S.A. The most prominent offering is the Cohiba 1966 Edición Limitada, released in commemoration of Cohiba’s 45th anniversary.

Measuring 6.5 inches with a 52 ring gauge, the Cohiba 1966 Edición Limitada is a cañonazo especial cigar, slightly longer than the renowned Cohiba Siglo IV.

The other two Edición Limitada cigars for this year are the Hoyo de Monterrey Short Hoyo Pirámides (5.3 x 46) and the Ramon Allones Allones Extra (5.6 x 44).

  1. I admit that I’m a bit late with 2011 limitadas reviews. Let us know how the Cohiba smokes 🙂

  2. Tonight I am going to smoke a “Cohiba 1966. 2011 Limited Edition”. I was looking for a review prior to smoking but unfortunatly nothing here. I’ll up-date a review later.

  3. The 1966LE better be good at about $75 a pop.

  4. @Stan, thank you, the BHK 52 is indeed much shorter. The new limited edition will be longer than the Siglo IV / Gran Reserva (6.5 vs 5.9 inches), I just corrected the post.

  5. The BHK 52 is much shorter at under 5″, I believe you are referring to th Cohiba Gran Reserva?

  6. The Ramon Allones is all that matters…
