2010 Cuban Cigar Deletions

As Jason rightfully reminded me, Habanos SA are not planning to stop their streak of cigar deletions. After the Bolivar Bonita, which we’ll all be sorry to see go away, they are now getting rid of the whole series of panatela cigars, including the great Partagas Serie du Connaisseur, highly rated in many cigar resources. Considering the fact that the average ring of cigars programmed for 2010 is in the 50ish, we can clearly see where the market is going. Also note that the list is about twice as long as last year…

I’m outraged! What’s the deal? Was Fidel abused by petite coronas and panatelas as a child or what? The Parti Con.#2 was going to be my next purchase and my sources have none left.
Rafael Gonzalez Coronas Extra is a must buy. I’m scratching my head over that one, but I guess it isn’t a big seller, even though it’s a great cigar.
For me, it will be one of the Partagas Serie du Connaisseur or the LGC Medaille d’Or No. 3.
My nomination: the Punch Churchill.
