This year at the Habanos Festival in Cuba, Habanos introduced a new cigar to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Quai d’Orsay, named the Especial d’Orsay. This new cigar is similar to a toro in size, measuring 6 inches in length with a ring gauge of 53. This vitola, known as Sobresalientes, was previously produced for Por Laranaga as a UK regional cigar.

In our latest video, we review this new Quai d’Orsay cigar to evaluate its quality and overall smoking experience. The cigar is priced at approximately £50.00 each in Cuba, suggesting it will be significantly more expensive in the UK once available. Given that it is an anniversary edition, the higher price is expected and considered standard for such special releases.

Currently, the cigar is only available in Cuba, sold in a 5-count travel box, which makes it a rare find for now. There is no information yet on its release in other markets, but it is confirmed that once available, it will be sold in 20-count boxes. This indicates that collectors and enthusiasts will have a better opportunity to purchase them in larger quantities.

In the meantime, we invite you to check out our full video review linked below to see how the cigar performs in terms of flavor, draw, and overall smoking experience. The video provides an in-depth analysis and could help you decide if this special edition cigar is worth adding to your collection.
