Habanos, S.A., the esteemed leader in the world of premium cigars, has once again captivated cigar enthusiasts with their latest release, the Hoyo de Monterrey Monterreyes No. 4 Limited Edition. This highly anticipated cigar was unveiled by Kaliman Caribe, the exclusive distributor of Habanos, S.A. for Bulgaria, at an exclusive event held in Sofia.
The Monterreyes No. 4 is a remarkable vitola, measuring 55 ring gauge by 145mm in length. This is the seventh limited edition under the Hoyo de Monterrey brand and is a testament to the company’s commitment to the popular brand.
The world premiere of this limited edition took place in Sofia, Bulgaria, where a select group of over 500 guests from various countries had the privilege of being the first to experience and savour the Monterreyes No. 4. Set against the backdrop of the picturesque Vitosha Mountain and the Iskar River, the event was a magical evening filled with live music, captivating dance performances, and, of course, the finest Habanos.
Limited editions hold a special place in the portfolio of Habanos, S.A., as they showcase the meticulous selection of aged tobacco leaves, aged for a minimum of two years. The Monterreyes No. 4 is presented in a specially designed wooden box, containing 10 cigars, making it a true collector’s item.
What makes this limited edition even more exceptional is its reintroduction of the Monterreyes vitola from the 1960s, now presented in a trendy format. With its larger ring gauge, it caters to the preferences of cigar aficionados who appreciate a bolder and more substantial smoking experience.
Bulgaria, for the second time, had the honour of hosting the worldwide launch of a limited edition cigar. Habanos, S.A.’s commercial vice-president, Jorge Pérez Martell, and development vice-president, José MarÃa López Inchaurbe, expressed their pride in collaborating with Kaliman Caribe for this momentous occasion. They were confident that not only Bulgaria but cigar enthusiasts worldwide would warmly embrace this highly anticipated release.
