Pinar del Rios are hand-made in the Dominican Republic by people who have cigar smoke in their veins - it's a multi-generation family business. The Clasico is the third blend released by the company and it features a Connecticut wrapper, a Dominican binder and filler leaves from Dominicana and Nicaragua. Thanks to the Connecticut leaf, the smoke is rather creamy but it does pack some pepper as well. Overall, a good mild to medium cigar with lots of flavor.
