    Partagas Aristocrats

    Origin : CubaPartagas
    Factory Name : Petit Corona
    Size : 129 x 15.87 mm
    Ring : 40
    Weight : 7.52 g
    Machine-Made
    Price : ~$5/piece

Partagas Aristocrats belong to the Petit Cedros format (gauge 40, lenght 129mm). Their wraper is sometimes quite rough and the amount of tobacco is not always the same, that meaning some changes in the draw, which is sometimes too easy.

    Appearance : [rating:2.5/5]
The appearance is rather poor, but it makes the smoking better – you start by underestimating the cigar, then discover its real taste.

    Construction : [rating:4/5]
My particular cigar was totalmente a mano, the construction was quite nice and the maduro wrapper gave it a very nice presentation.

    Flavor : [rating:4.5/5]
Light one of these up, and you’re greeted with a punch of green pepper and coffee. The cigar soon smooths out with some cocoa, and develops creaminess after 1/3. It keeps amazing me that Partagas managed to pack a strong variation in this little vitola.

    Value : [rating:5/5]
The price of this cigar is a key element in its rating, since many cigars that I have tried cost more with nothing extra to offer.

    Overall Rating : [rating:overall/5]
Don’t put your nose up for these. Try Partagas Aristocrats, and be amazed at what you’ll find. I can’t make assurances about the quality in different batches, but from the ones I’ve tried, this is one hell of a success for creating a great little cigar.

      Untill 2002 they were machine-made.After 2002 they are hand-made.

Are these cigars handmade, or machine made?
      I think I have seen a box stating hecho totalmente a mano…

I have bought two boxes of these from JUN 2013.They now with the new band and wrappers are not so dark as before.
I love these cigars. They smoke perfectly and their taste and complexity remind of a much more expensive cigar.Definitely I’ll get some more of these.Great value at 99.00 euros.

Mmm. Green pepper. Coffee. I picture myself at a cafe, chickens squawking, that Latin music in the background… Mm….

Partagas is probably the only brand that never ever disappointed me. All of the stogies I tried were perfect or close to perfect.

One of the best in price/quality ratio.
