Partagas Aristocrats belong to the Petit Cedros format (gauge 40, lenght 129mm). Their wraper is sometimes quite rough and the amount of tobacco is not always the same, that meaning some changes in the draw, which is sometimes too easy.
Appearance :

The appearance is rather poor, but it makes the smoking better - you start by underestimating the cigar, then discover its real taste.
Construction :

My particular cigar was totalmente a mano, the construction was quite nice and the maduro wrapper gave it a very nice presentation.
Flavor :

Light one of these up, and you're greeted with a punch of green pepper and coffee. The cigar soon smooths out with some cocoa, and develops creaminess after 1/3. It keeps amazing me that Partagas managed to pack a strong variation in this little vitola.
Value :

The price of this cigar is a key element in its rating, since many cigars that I have tried cost more with nothing extra to offer.
Overall Rating :

Don't put your nose up for these. Try Partagas Aristocrats, and be amazed at what you'll find. I can't make assurances about the quality in different batches, but from the ones I've tried, this is one hell of a success for creating a great little cigar.
