Cigar News
2011 Cuban Cigar Deletions
August 2011
This is not exactly fresh news, but still worth reminding you what cigars have been discontinued in 2011:
- San Cristobal de la Habana Mercaderes
- San Cristobal de la Habana Muralla
- San Cristobal de la Habana Oficios
- Partagas Culebras
- Bolivar Gold Medal
I will definitely regret the last three cigars, Oficios and Gold Medal being just damn fine smokes whereas Partagas Culebras allowed some very fun smoking sessions with friends.
R.I.P.
PS I just got word that among cigars supposed to be deleted in 2012 there is… Trinidad Robusto T! (our top Cuban smoke of 2009) What the hell are they doing???

La Gloria Tainos soon to be extinct, what a shame.
I suppose the rocket scientists at Habanos SA want to direct more energy and resources to their crappy “regionals”.
I can’t imagine Trinidad discontinuing the robusto T.
Better stock up soon.
The Trini RT going?! Aw c’mon!!
@thechenman
According to my info, Bolivar Corona Extra as well as LGC Tainos will be discontinued in 2012, not in 2011.
Also forgot to mention that the La Gloria Cubana Tainos will be discontinued as well this year.
Bolivar Corona Extra has also been canceled in 2011…also Bolivar Petite Coronas will no longer be produced in 50 cabs.
