Squire Cigars (Santa Rosa, CA)

Squire Cigars originated in February 1974 as The Pipe Squire in Santa Rosa, CA. The first location was at the Belvedere on Mendocino for eight months, then they moved to Old Courthouse Square, downtown. After two years Barney and Linda Squires took the big jump and opened a shop in Coddingtown Center. They operated for eight years across from the old Emporium before moving into the newly enclosed center mall. They were in business at this location for 16 more years. In 2000 they moved the store to their current location at 1305 Cleveland Avenue which afforded them room enough for a lounge and retail operation.
