Here we go, the first cigar reviews contest at Cigar Inspector has just begun. Some sites do contests to celebrate something, but we really have no special reason. First of all, let’s talk about the prize, since this is probably the most interesting part, right?
A great online cigar shop, TopCubans.com, has generously accepted to sponsor our contest and you now have a chance to win a St Dupont X-Tend lighter ($165 value!). We decided not to offer cigars as prizes since it might be tricky to ship to some countries. Therefore, whatever your country of residence, you can participate!
In order to participate:
1. Post a comment on this page stating which cigar you are going to review (it must NOT be previously reviewed at Cigar Inspector).
2. Submit your review using our online form. Feel free to include photographs along with your review (if you are sending over 3 photographs, let us know). Please note that the review must be original and never published before.
3. You’re in!
4. (optional but highly recommended!) Pass the word! If you have a blog, a website or you are an active member of a forum, feel free to post about this contest. Thank you. By the way, even if you’re not planning to participate, pass the word too! :)
Now, time for the rules:
1. Minimum number of 5 participants is required for the contest to be run.
2. The contest will be running for 30 days after the 5th review is submitted.
3. The winner will be chosen by a professional (hehe) jury. Who will be on the jury? Jesse AKA Cigar Jack, Tom AKA CigarFan and myself (Inspector).
4. A poll will be set up on this page where you will be able to vote for your favorite review. The results will surely affect our decision.

Once you’re done writing, submit it via their online form and you’re done. The only thing is that there needs to be a minimum of 5 reviews submitted for the contest to run, and that the contest will run for 30 days after the last review is submitted. I have told all my friends at Xavier about it! and one or two should be posting some reviews soon! That lighter looks soo good to me, especially since the weather here isn’t particularly match friendly. also we have to smoke outside since were in ohio and Xavier doesn’t allow any smoking anywhere indoors.

What a great contest and great prize! I’m floored. I’ve had my Xtend for over 5 years and it’s never, ever had a problem. These are like the Timexes of the lighter world. Very nice gesture.

I submitted a review of the Perdomo Edicion de Silvio. I tried to submit a jpg scan of the cigar band but the entry form did not let me saying the file type is not allowed. Can I email you the picture?
