Desktop humidors come in a variety of sizes and styles that can fit everyone’s needs. Desktop humidors generally store up to 25 cigars, with some holding up to 50 or more, and are small enough to not look out of place on top of a desk or table. Desktop humidors are perfect for storing a limited number of cigars for several months, but with proper care, can protect cigars for even longer.

The most common material for a desktop humidor lining is Spanish cedar. It protects the cigars, and deters the development of mildew and mold which will ruin your cigars. The Spanish cedar protects the cigar from drying and deterioration of being exposed to the elements, but also prevents the damage that can come from being in the humidor.

Good desktop humidors will be nearly air tight, with just enough breathability to allow air in and out of the case, which will help with inhibiting mold and mildew.
