Some cigar accessories, like cutters, lighters, and even ash trays, are the essential accessories to truly enjoying cigars. Cigar ashtrays are different than cigarette ash trays, and can hold the amount of ash a cigar produces, and provide a place to set it down if you need to.

Cigar ashtrays can be made out of almost any material, including plastic, ceramic, crystal, or metal. Ceramic and crystal ashtrays often have patterns, designs, or logos on them and are often sold or given away by cigar companies. Metal and plastic ashtrays usually don’t have ornate designs and often only differ from each other in size and shape.

Cigar ashtrays differ from normal cigarette ashtrays mainly in size. A cigarette ashtray doesn’t need to hold large amounts of ash, and cradles smaller smokeables. Cigar ashtrays are designed to provide a safe place to rest a stogie in between smoking it. They have deeper and wider ash bowls to hold the amount of ash that several cigars produce.
