    I purchased 2 humidors from Technically it was 3 but the second one I ordered had a crack in the glass. Absolutely no question from them. I contacted their customer support and I was told to send back my purchase and I selected another model without a glass lid. I spoke to the owner, David, at the time and he was more than helpful in the process. Both of my Humidors are still sitting in use on my desk and I am completely satisfied with their performance, quality and appearance. Since my original purchases I have referred several friends and customers to I have only heard of positive messages as the quality and the prices are excellent. I would Strongly recommend you investigate if you are in the market to purchase a quality box for a reasonable price!

    I purchased my first humidor from last year (2008) and was completely satisfied. It had a glass top and I had it engraved. Looks great, and properly impresses my friends. Now I’m in the market for a larger, fancier, cooler humidor and I’ve found that one at cheaphumidors as well. I’ve been very pleased with their service and products.

    Amazingley quick & helpful service, I’m really impressed on the speed etc. from sunny Miami to the darkest depths of Norfolk in the UK in under seven days, brilliant.

    As for the humi what a cracking piece of kit as it was a “second” the only blemish I could see (or rather the wife as she’s got the eyes of an eagle) was a slight dint on the front corner + all the instructions etc. are excellent.

    The only gripe I have was that one of the cigars (the 5 vegas gold) was cracked at the foot but everything else was superb.

    Not a satisfied customer. No one ansers the telephone. There aren’t any online 24 hour service reps as posted on there website. Recieved only part of my order and a tracking number still not has been sent to me after more than two weeks. My humidor was damaged before it was packed. The foam and box was not damaged, just the humidor. I didn’t even complain about it. I just wanted my cigars. I can’t tell anyone else what to do, but think think twice before you order here. I honestly think that this operation is ran out of the back yard and it lacks the professioanlisim that I have experience elsewhere. I read other reviews and did not proceeed with caution. I figured that the company would be able to procure a simple order, but I was obviously mistaken. I am currently taking action.

    Even the “scratch and dent specials” are excellent. I placed an order late on a thursday for one of their “imperfect” humidors. I was able to get a 25-50 capacity humidor that functions perfectly, with a nick that took me 25 minutes to find, plus a hygrometer for under $20. Also, I ordered thursday night and I received it tuesday morning!

    Bought a Jobon Agent 86 lighter from the eBay store, free, fast shipping, but item wouldn’t maintain a flame. Customer service sent me instructions to troubleshoot, but no joy. When I told them this, they immediately sent a new lighter, no charge. This is how companies all should respond, but seldom do.     I ordered 2 john wayne zippo lighters. I received one on the bottom of the receipt is a hand written note that said OOS sending one. They charged me for two. I have been waiting for the second lighter, however when I tried to look it up on their web sight it is not listed. My order was made Nov.4 2009 an since receiving the one lighter I have not heared anything from them

    I have bought two humidors from this shop. The smaller one was a 50 count and was perfect. The bigger was a 150 count and it does not seal very well. Luckily I keep my humidors in a wine fridge so no dramas. They are cheap but very helpful and most their products are good quality although being in Oz I could not send the leaking one back as it would cost more than the humidor in postage. Not their fault.

    Merchant did not include the proper shipping invoice to get the humidor to me (I live in Canada), and their “customer service” rep seemed to think it was my responsibility to take care of that.

    After offering to ship the humidor to me again AT MY EXPENSE, I told them to cancel the order. They shipped it to me anyway.

    Sounds like they’re great unless you have a problem. Then you just fall into the email void. Multiple emails went unanswered until I finally called them.

    Would not recommend them under any circumstances.

    Worst on-line buying experience ever!
    This is my story:

    I ordered a humidor. The next day received an e-mail that said it shipped. The tracking number sent to me didn’t work, so I called after two days. Spoke to Gia, their customer service rep, and she told me the humidor was actually out of stock but more would be in in a few days. No apology or explanation on why I got an e-mail that said ‘shipped’ when they were actually back ordered. Gia assured me when my humidor came in that she would contact me. Three days later I call them again, and Gia answers again. She doesn’t know what is going on with my order while I am on the phone, but e-mails me hours later to let me know that my humidor had shipped the previous day. No explanation why she didnt contact me as promised. No e-mail yet to let me know that the original ‘shipped’ e-mail was wrong, no e-mail yet that there was a back order, no e-mail on it shipping (the second time) no tracking number. I wait a week, no humidor arrives, I call back. Gia answers again, I ask for a tracking number, she directs me to the original tracking number in the original e-mail that was for a humidor that was backordered. I tell her that this tracking number is not working. She then tells me that I need to get in touch with fedex and find my package. (that’s right, I have to do their work for them and find out where their missing package is) So I do, fedex tells me that they never picked up a package for me. I ask if they are tracking any package to me at all, they are not. So again I call Gia back, I have discovered at this point that she is the only person that answers the phone because no one else has yet. Once I tell her the status of my package she asks what I want done. I tell her I want a full refund.

    Absolutely terrible customer service. Completely unprofessional. Will never use again.

    Worst online cigar shop I have ever dealt with. Payed for 3 day shipping, order shipped on Monday and arrived the following Wednesday the next week. The order arrived missing items and wasn’t protected at all. The items where just tossed in the shipping box with no padding whatsoever. I’m surprised nothing was damaged. It also took two whole days just get ahold of a customer service rep on the phone. DO NOT recommended doing business with!

    purchased a humidor for my husband about a week and a half before Christmas on I was very nervous that it wouldn’t arrive on time but felt that I would just take the risk and do it. The humidor was at an amazing price, a price which no other businesses could come even close to, so I got it anyways. The humidor arrived three working days after I ordered it. It came packedged to the nines, and the humidor itself was absolutely beautiful. Lance fell in love with it the moment he saw it.

    I ordered a humidor kit for a Christmas gift before Christmas! I got the shipping info, but they didn’t not ship it properly for it to arrive to me in Hawaii. It was returned to them on Jan. 4th (fed ex tracking). I have spoken to them before and now today! I have to pay extra shipping and even though the product got back to them on the 4th and now it is the 7th, they still say they can’t ship it until the 10th! I paid extra for overnight even! They don’t even seem to care! Not to mention that I still won’t have a Christmas gift for my brother until mid-January! The customer service department didn’t even seem to care! Didn’t off to discount or make it better. I will NEVER buy from them again! Hopefully the quality is okay when I receive it.

    Cheap is the key word. My humidor came packaged terribly, dented, scratched, dirty, and with pieces missing. You then get these wacky emails from the owner saying that they really want to hear about your experience and will work with you to make things right. I emailed them and after some back and forth they offered me 10% off. That is not making things right. Would never buy from them again.

    Update: Please ignore my last comments, they fixed my problems.

(I don’t do Ebay) Everything arrived in perfect condition, the order was complete. I also got it in two days without paying extra for shipping. They’re in Florida and I live in Central PA!     I placed an order on 19 may 2011 and I was informed today that my order will not be shipped out until tomorrow (1 Jun 2011). I would have understood the length of time if they where building the humidor by hand but they are not. The only thing they are doing to it is glass engraving. I order my humidor Monday and paid extra for the 3day shipment and extra to push my order to the TOP!! It is now Friday 6:30pm TEXAS time and no humidor and no response back from cheaphumidors customer service!!! I purchased from this site after reading the About us section!! I am now disappointed. I left a message and sent and email as instructed earlier today in plenty of time!! I ordered this for my father for fathers day so now I can only hope it will arrive at all! I too did the engraving!! If the engraving is the issue, they should NOT ALLOW us to pay for extra shipment!! I really hope they do the right thing and reimburse my shipment cost!!     I’ve been trying to get some info to place an order for probably two weeks now but have never received a response to my emails posted on their web site’s “Contact Us” page. I’m using this as benchmark as to what I might expect if I actually place an order, so I’m now looking elsewhere. You would think that a merchant would want to provide assistance to a buyer…but what do I know?

    At present very bad experience. I placed my cigars order two months ago. At the beginning everything was fine but the parcel had been blocked at the custom. After few week FedEx had shipped it back, they received the parcel exactly in “pre-shipping conditions” but they didn’t send my an email about it. I have discovered it calling FedEx and they gave me the track number to check that the parcel reached the sender.
    Now they have my cigars box in “pre-shipping conditions”, my money and seems impossible at least obtain a partial refund. To ship it again the cost is 50% of my order value (60bucks). I guess that they are great in US but my shipment to Europe become a mess!

    International buyers, be aware!!!

    credit card was immediately charged after order placed on 17 april. A day later, I received an email stating that two of my items were out of stock!!!

    I cancelled the order as the out of stock items are my most wanted items. Although they will refund the full amount, i will have to incur some losses due to the currency exchange rate.

    How could CH charged into my credit card when they did not even check on the physical availability of the items.

    And by the way, the two items that were out of stock,

    “The Padilla Edicion Especiale Traveler Cigar Humidor”

    “The Cuba Libre Cigar Humidor”

    Both items are still available in the website.

    My first order with your company, and once I use the other voucher, my last!

    I was brought to the site by a TIPPR coupon offer; the fine print said I could purchase two vouchers but nothing stated that I had to use the coupons on two separate orders. When I attempted to use the promotion the site offered no solutions, so I called the contact number listed only to be bounced around the automated system, then hung up on. Not a good start…

    When I called back I finally managed to get to a person who then transferred me to the Operations Manager. He was not only unhelpful, but argumentative and dismissive, telling me, “I can’t wave a magic wand…” and “We’ve done nothing wrong”. Rather than simply manually fixing the problem and earning a customer for life, you have insured that once these vouchers are used I will NEVER do business here again.

    To add insult to injury, the shipping charges are twice what they should be and when I offered a suggestion on this, he told me, “We don’t do it that way…”

    Charging $11 to ship a box of cigars is ridiculous. USPS Priority costs $5 and delivers in 3 days; UPS charges twice that and delivers in 7-10 days. Offer the option to your customers!

    I typically purchase $1200 or more in cigars annually, almost exclusively through Thompson Cigar. They offer me options you don’t such, as less than a full box quantity, so I don’t have to spend over $100-200 to see if I like a different brand, style, size, or offering. I ALWAYS wait until they have a free shipping offer to order from Thompson, as times are hard and money is tight. When I saw that you had my favorite brand and style for less than their best price, I was very happy… Until I actually tried to use your service!

    How could my business have been earned today? Easy: Manually input the order and apply both vouchers to the total. Even if you couldn’t use USPS for this order, offer to look into it for the future. Your price on the product I ordered is already LOWER than Thompson’s, by more than 20%! Even with the higher shipping cost, you still would have beat their price!

    In conclusion, a simple managerial prerogative to input the order and apply the vouchers would have fixed everything and I would have become a customer for life. Arguing and inability to manually deal with a serious customer service issue have cost you a new customer, and that customer will be telling all his cigar buddies not to do business with you either.

    I ordered and received an imperfect humidor and have no real idea as to what’s imperfect about it. Great deal for my first humidor. The cigars I ordered with it were a little dry, but nothing some time in a humidor couldn’t fix.

    I have since ordered two more times from them and they’ve all been pleasant experiences.

    Will not hesitate to order from them again.

    Ordered their humidity beads and they came cracked. About 25% of the bag was a fine powder. I sent them back to the company at my own cost(had to be Fedex according to them), then they had the audacity to charge me a 20% restocking fee becasue they said that they worked. Shame on you!

    Today I contacted Cheap Humidors to ask if I ordered today when would the humidor be shiped.
    They (Kayla Becker) said that it would be at the same day (today). I ordered.
    I know there are a lot of people from many diferent places in the world who visit Cigar Inspector and are interested in to know what would be the shipment to their countries.
    I live in Brazil.
    I will let you, guys, know every single step from my order. At the final movement – when I receive the order – I will say if it is Negative, Neutral or a Positive review.
    So far everything goes 100% ok!

    Like I said above, on December 22nd, 2012 I ordered one humidor from Cheap Humidors. Before I paid the saleswoman Kayla Becker said that it would be shipped in the same day.
    Even being end of the year a good vendor would know that could hppen a delay so wouldn’t promess “same day shipping”. 2 or 3 days would be understandable. Unfortunately it took 10 (TEN) days to be shipped and nobody asked me if it was ok like that.
    Anyway, the humidor arrived and when I opened the box a surprise: it came with severe damages. Inside the box there was a lot of styrofoam so the damages didn’t occur after the shipping.
    I took some pictures of them and e-mailed Cheap Humidors asking what could be done. After 3 days and no response I am posting here.
    In cigar industry reliability is 99% of the business. Cheap Humidors is not a company that I can trust. I have a good amount of money to be spent in cigars and their accessories. Cheap Humidors will not have any other single penny of me.

    I bought a cigar scissor cutter from them for $12.95. They were so dull I ruined 2 cigars. Upon contacting their customer service, after going back and forth a couple emails trying to get them to tell me something, they finally said I could send them back for a refund if I paid the shipping and it was also going to be subject to a 20% re-stocking fee. They never offered to send me another cutter of the same type. They would let me upgrade to a better cutter only if still paid return shipping and re-stocking fees. These people are horrible to deal with. They do not stand behind their products at all. They just want your money. Beware, if you buy something and have a problem. Stay away!!

    I ordered a humidor, a cutter, a few 5 cigar sample packs, and a 3 flame torch from Cheap Humidors. I wasn’t sure exactly what I wanted but their customer service is fast and amazing. Kayla was able to answer all my questions and even make a few suggestions that turned out great! When I decide to upgrade to a larger humidor or start running low on cigars I’ll be back!

    Placed an order 10/31 for a cabinet humidor and paid for the Hydra upgrade. Received it 11/4 and told them the humidor was missing a divider. Ira at customer service assured me they would get a new one sent out. The Hydra quit working within 4 days. I called them back for a replacement Hydra unit and was told they offered no warranty. The person I spoke to was very rude, unhelpful, and told me to call the humidifier’s manufacturer for service *they weren’t any help either). I asked him what I should do with the $200 box of CAO’s I just bought and was told it was my fault for trusting an electric humidifier.

    Called back and spoke to Ira again. He apologized, sent me a return label ( I bought a Cigar Oasis locally) and even told me my divider was due in his shop any day.

    11/29 – Black Friday. I got some online coupons and decided to give them a 2nd chance. Ordered a box of cigars, a cutter, and 2 hygrometers. Got them 12/7. The cigars were opened, and both hygrometers were crammed into the cigar box! One of the hygrometers was on, missing the little battery saving tab the other one had. I have no idea if it is used, or how long its been running. The cutter is no where to be found. I still haven’t seen my divider. I did get my initial refund in a timely manner. I hope they refund the missing cutter as fast.

    2 jacked up orders in barely a month. I wont be back.

    I purchased a Retail 7 Display humidor and Oasis XL Plus humidifier and could not be happier. I was a little worried about the amount of glass on this , bigger than I thought it would be, humidor and how well the large door would seal. I could not be happier with how well it holds the humidity and the super craftsmanship. it is stunning and gets a lot of attention when my compadres witness it. I had a few questions which I emailed to customer service and Kayla and Dave were quick to reply with detailed, informative information. Very friendly and helpful responses with a genuine concern to make sure I would be a happy customer. They have indeed found a customer for life. Nearly done with the seasoning and am looking forward to stocking my little cigar hotel with sticks from Cheaphumidors. I will follow up this review with a report on the cigar purchase. Outstanding vendor. Their superb reputation is well deserved.

    package was in horrible condition when it arrived, the delivery service was very difficult to deal with. when i opened the box i saw they were not smart enough to put the cigars inside the portable humidor. 3 of the 5 were broken. The portable humidor does not properly close. I’ve called and left a message since getting someone to answer was not working. 2 days have passed still no return call. very poor service, very poor quality of product and very poorly packaged.

    So, I retired and decided to sell cigars at some of the shows I go to. Therefore I needed 20 Acrylic Jar type humidors. I called and was told “no problem – just go to their website and complete the order”. So I did. I then received an email from them saying they don’t have what I want in stock, they had to order them, they had no idea when they would come into their store and that I was being placed on a waiting list. Two months later…….I got another email from them saying my items were in, so I told them to go ahead and ship the order since it was already paid for. That wasn’t good enough. They said to place the order again because they could not find my order by searching my name or email address in their “system”. They then asked me for my order # and proof from my bank that my account had been debited. My on-line bank account and my email is set up to automatically delete entries after 60 days. Well, they didn’t understand that and want me to fix their problem. I had been warned against dealing with them, but I did anyway due to the price. It’s been a week and still no resolution. Now I have learned the hard way!

    Bought a few cigars, including 2013 cigar aficionado top 20 selection, but the cigars i received were not the ones advertised and switched with others of lower value, and not in the top 20 list.
    Asked for an explanation, and still waiting for an answer.
    Also bought a few cigars which arrived in good conditions. Service is just not transparent, not completely honest.

    Ordered a humidor from them which came without the inlays for the humidifier & the hydrometer. When I called cheap’o’s to find out why or to return my purchase, a rep who said,”oh that’s the new model”,and thats how the manufacture is making them now. Well besides this guy patronizing me he just blatantly lied to me. I contacted the manufacturer and NO THATS NOT HOW THEY ARE MADE!! I’ve tried calling their 24hr customer service, to which is non exsistant. I keep getting a recording stating that to please call during regular business hours 9-5 M-F thank god I payed with PayPal. So now I had to file a claim against them. Will update with a resolution.

    This is an update to my last review on May 23rd 2015. I had to file a claim with pay pal, which I’m glad I made my purchase through. I tried and tried but got no where with cheaphumodor’s customer service. That’s when I contacted PayPal and they helped with me getting a FULL REFUND!! PayPal’s decision went in my favor and told me not to worry. Just send the humidor back and send PayPal the tracking# and once it showed received I would get my money back. Had I tried returning the humidor though I wouldn’t have received a FULL REFUND. Buyer beware of these guys. If you feel you must purchase through them good luck, but at least pay with extra security like PayPal.

    I placed a $90 order and customs wanted $170 in duties, so I sent the order back. will not issue you a refund on cigars. There is no way to know what customs will charge you to get your cigars to Canada….I’m out $90

    Always received items on time and in top condition. They carry a lot of things you can’t get anywhere else. There customer service is second to none. I’ve worked retail sales before and some customers are downright just a pain in the ass to deal with and will find anything they can to complain about. I would recommend them.
